Day trip to Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, 2 hour train ride from Vienna.

It's probably the smallest capital I've ever visited with very little tourists.

Vestiges of the spread of the Roman Empire

Overdeveloped commercial malls and ugly ghetto housing

Underdeveloped green space with windmill in the distance

There are bronze statues spread out over the city center, but I only found one.

One tour group had wireless ear pieces that linked to the guide's microphone.

Have you ever melted chocolate and drank it? I did.

Got lucky and caught changing of the guards.

Other Highlights

Love the tram because I love trains, but also because it's so easy to find the stops just by following the tracks and electrical lines.
